Coral ReefsĀ  are important to humans because they protect shores from the impact of waves and storms. They also provide a lot of benefits to humans in the form of food and medicine and provide economic benefits to local communities from tourism. If were to be an engineer and would want t save coral reefs I would have to getĀ  an Ocean Engineering Degree. Ocean Engineers take and analyza what happens in the ocean. A good colledge for marine engineering programs would be the Texas A&M. They have programs for marine engineering having to deal with the oceans were the coral reefs are at.
